An urgent Message

A Gift-Story for AikDingo <3

Slowly Aik felt how she awoke from her Dream. It was a dreamless night acctually, but she still felt like she dreamed something,  she wasn't able to remember. The sounds of the Forest began to crawl into her ear, silent at first, but becomming louder and louder as the seconds passed. The Birds were welcoming the Morning and other animals were stambling through the grass. Slowly she opened her lids and let the morning sun blend her eyes. The green colour of the forest looked so warm this morning!
Still a little tired and blended by the sun rays, she started to blink a few times, rose her head afterwards and opened her muzzle for a long and tired yawn.  
Her ear twiched. Something had been lying next to her.
"Good morning, my dear.", she heard the ironic voice of Coronia say. Right away she turned her head to take a look at her. Her Sister-like clone of her loked at her as if she was bored. For how long has she been up already?
"Morning, ID...", she replyed, still a little tired. "Just how long are you up already?" Coronia rose an eyebrow. Her eyes twiched to the sky for a second, then she replied: "I didn't sleep. I wasn't able to." Aik gave her a confused look. "But why?", she asked. "Better don't ask...", she replied and lifted her slender, scarred body to take a few steps away from her.
"I met Link last night while I was my way to look for you.", she continued. "He said he wants to meet you at the clearing today, you know, the one from where you can see Hyrule Castel so well. It was important, he said. But don't ask me what he acctually wants from you." Aik was pretty surprised. Link had never ever let Coronia transmit a message to her. If there was something to say, he always said it to aik himself. She got curious.
"And you're sure it was him who met you and not the other way around?" Souspiciously she stood up and walked next to Coronia. "Would I ever lie to you?", she asked and gave her a sqirmy smile. Though she was able to see that Aik was definately not amused. Why just couldn't she take jokes when was about Link? Right away Coronia put the sqirmy look out of her face and set on a friendly smile. "No, this time it wasn't the way you think, believe me.", she said. "But I have my own stuff to do anyway. I'll see you later!", she continued and jumped right into the bushes. Aik was left with confused thoughts. She believed that this was one of the less times when she was acctually able to trust ID. Still with Mischief on her mind, she also slowly made her way through the forest to the clearing.

Link was very troubled. He realy wasn't good in that kind of things. Nervously he went up and down on the clearing. Why wasn't Aik there yet? She was supposed to be here since... A few minutes? Ah well... Link took a deep breath. Calm down now, he thought to himself, you can do that. You're not the super hero of Hyrule without any reasons.  He realy had to tell her. At least before he needed to leave.
There was a cracking branch within the bushes. Link quickly turned around to his beloved grey Dingo who was running out of them. He put up a gentle smile upon his muzzle to welcome her. Aik seemed to be in a cheerful mood today. She was running at him grinning and panting, as if she hurried. Probably she realy wanted to see him. Thanks to Corinia, Link knew what Aik felt for him. And he felt charmed in a very special way. But when he told Coronia about this, she showed a cerrtain... reluctance. Strange girl that was.
When Aik stood in front of Link, she smiled at him, trying not let her tounge embarassingly hang out out her mouth. Since she had to look up to the giant Wolf, this wasn't that easy. After her breath got a little more slowly, she sat down, smiling at him yet again, saying: "So, here I am!"
Gosh, the smile of this Dingo was damn addictive... Trying not to blush, he turned his head away. "Yes... I'm glad you came...", he said, walking away a little. Aik followed him right away. He stopped right in the place from wich you had the best view. Of Hyrule Castle, that is. Sad he looked to the giant fortress that looked like it could reach the heavens from here. It made him sick.
Aik took place in the grass next to him, her tail wagging constantly. "So? What is it you wanted to talk about?", she smiled. Links Heart started to beat again. He was able to hear it right to his throat. "Well.... There was this message I giot yesterday...", she started. "It seems like... Those shadow monsters... They seem to be back." Aik was shocked as Links Words reached her. "What?!", she asked confused. "Yes...", Link continued. "But it seems, to be worse this time, there were some people who said that they also saw them outside their shadow-territorys.", He looked down to Aik. His eyes were full of pain, somehow. It made Aik sad to see him in such a state. Come to think of that, she acctually never saw him in such a state, wich made it even harder for her to handle the situation. Link continued: "So Princess Zelda sent me for another fight against those monsters... But I have no idea how long I will be gone." 'Gone'. This was the word Aik was afraid of. Link was supposed to leave her? And even get in dangers? This was an unacceptable thought for Aik. Never would she stand the pain of the lonelyness or the worryness. And the worst: Link would never get to know any of those feelings of hers.  
"Oh... That's nice.", was the only thing Aik was able to reply. She still was all stunned from the shock. Silently, both of them looked at the great castle in front of them. It is all her fault, Aik thought, all because of this Zelda-Bitch! Suddenly she began to hate Zelda for what she did.... Sure, Link might be the chosen one, but she doesn't even seem to know what kind dangers he gets involved in.
As if he was able to read her mind, Link turned his head and looked at her all guilty.  Aik also looked at him. "Don't look at me like that.", she ordered and turned her head again. "This was the first reason why I wanted to talk to you.", Link continued. "The other thing was that... Well...", his heart started beating like an insane again. He tryed to become calm again, but within her presence this was harder than he thought. "I acctually just wanted to tell you... That...", his eyes went down and he slowly startrd to blush. Not now, he thought, I can do this without any embarassing teenage behavor! He shook his head and put one of his paws in the front. "I just wanted to tell you that..." His sentence was interrupted. He heard a sound from the Bushes. His ears twiched and his eyes looked right into the forest. He was sure he heard something. "What is it?", Aik asked nervously. Link steped one step in front of her to shield her from the incoming enemie. "Stay silent.", he whispered to the small Canine, and suddenly, like a lightening bolt, a giant black Bird jumped out of the bushes, screaming, the wings flapping around like it had rabies. The head looked like a giant black stone tablet with some insiginias on it, black squeares were falling out of his 'feathers'.
And then, everything went so fast, Aik wasn't able to realize it at all. Link jumped at the direction of the beast, a single bite to break the neck was enough to finnish it. He shook his head and threw the corpse of the fiend away, right into a tree. The satisfying sound of a broken neck made him sure of the fact that it was dead. The dead body sank down to the ground again and slowly vanished into more little squares.
Slowly he turned back to Aik, who was standing there, shaking and shocked. It made Link sad to see her like this. Had she ever seen such a Monster before? Or did she only know them from his stories? He didn't know. He took some steps in front of her.
"So you see,", he started, "they're back. And I have no Idea what they're up to this time. I realy have to meet Midna and talk to her." Aik slowly caought her breath again. "But... But...", was the only thing she was able to say though, so silent that she had problems to understand it herself. Her tears sqished her throat. "But don't you worry.", he said again and came closer to her again. When he stood next to her, he moved his muzzle close to his ear. "Just because I'm leaving it doesn't mean that I'll forget about you.", he whispered and licked her check, the silent gesture of canines to deliver a message of love.
Now, Aik was even more surprised than before. But Link was already leaping back into the forests. Now she understood what message he had to deliver to her.
Slowly a smile started to crawl over her snout. It was somewhat a smile of succes, happyness and love.  Now she was happy again. There weren't any more shocks from the former bird attack. She stood up again, walking back into the forest, her steps light like feathers, with a goof feeling inside. Now she knew that Link would be alright on his new jurney. He just had to. Silent she started to sing, the song she had sung with Link so many times when they stood on this clearing at night. She couldn't wait to tell Coronia what just happend!

Link was still running through the forest, yet smiling. He suddenly felt so happy, he ran faster and faster, he wasn't able to feel the ground below his paws. He was so happy he told Aik how he felt about her. Well, he didn't told her at all, but he was very sure that Aik understood the meaning of his message. And if she didn't..? He didn't wanted to think about this for now, he had to concentrate on Hyrule right now.
He was ripped out of his mind by a dark red siluhette in fron of him. And he knew this silhoutte very well. He brake very hard, so that he didn't ran over her. He stood a few steps away from her, yet close enough to see her predatory eyes. "Oh... Hello Cora.", he said to greet the mischievous red and black Dingo. Coronia was sneaking her way to him, her slender, scarred body moving like a model would do. Link wasn't able to get his eyes rid of her, her body looked pertty nice this way. "...Hey Link.", Coronia replied. "I suppose you were at clearing to talk to Aik." Link raised one of his eyebrows. Since when did she care about what he said to Aik? "Yes. I told her about it. Pretty much the same I told you yesterday..." Coronia was slowly walking in circles around him, like an animal that was ready to rip its prey. He was caught in his thoughts again, a diffrent kind of thoughts though. Through her grey bangs, she was looking at him with a lustfull sight. Link swallowed once. "You still seem to care about her quite much."  Coronia realized. "Why won't you just forget about her?" , she said and came closer to Links body.  He was able to feel the heat of Coronias Body. "Cora, I think there's been some Mistake..." he said, trying not to let his typical male thoughts not come true. Coronia looked right into his eyes now. "Oh Link please, you don't think that I don't realize that you lunger for more than just... her.", Coronia said, and she looked away for a second, thinking of a Word that might explain her other self pretty well. "You mean Aik?", Link asked. "Yeah, you knew I was talking about her." she said, some sort of insulting. "But, since we both know that you will leave pretty soon, for a pretty long time... I know that you want to have some fun before you leave... I can see it in your eyes.", she said and started to snuggle into his breast fur. "Cora, please, I realy don't want to..." , he started, but wasn't quite able to end his speach. She was right, his body longed practicaly for the entertaiment Cora wanted to give him. But his mind was against this, tryed to hold him back. Coronia took her head out of his fur and set up a sneaky smile for him. "Oh, come on...", she said and went some steps back, layed her front body down and shaking her butt in the air, her tail as well. "All of this can be yours. Don't tell me you donÔt long for some... fun." Links body was almost defenseless against this sexappeal. He realy had to do something. He shook his head very fast and started to run away from her, saying "I'm sorry Cora, i realy have no time for this!" He disappeared into the bushes.
Coronia stood up again, watching him running into the bushes. Damn, his feeling for Aik were still to strong..! But don't you worry, she thought, one day I'll free you from her, and then... You'll be mine.
